Perfect Skiing

Sierra Nevada has been an exclusive ski resort since 1964. It is located on the Pico del Veleta. At 3,398 metres, it is the tallest mountain in the Iberian Peninsula. The ski resort is on the north-facing slopes, but you can enjoy amazing views of the nearby forests, Granada and even the Atlas Mountains in North Africa! Sierra Nevada has a long skiing season from December to April. It is one of the best resorts if you like to ski early or if you want to continue until late in the season. The average temperature in the resort is around minus twenty degrees Celsius. There is usually deep snow of more than 100 centimetres. When more snow is needed, the resort makes its own by using artificial snow machines.
